Prashant joined JM Financial Private Equity in August 2011. He has around 17 years of Financial Services experience including Private Equity and Investment Banking in India. He has been part of all the three funds of the JM PE Platform till now. In addition to investments and portfolio management, he has demonstrated experience in exits from our Fund I and Fund II and handling investor relations. Also, he overlooks the ESG commitment of our platform.

Prashant focuses on sectors such as financial, manufacturing  and consumer services. He has worked across the investment life cycle from investment to management to exits.

Prior to JM Financial, Prashant worked as a Senior Associate in the Investment Banking division at Morgan Stanley (Advantage Services) for around 4 years.

He serves as a Nominee Director and Observer on the Board of Fund II and Fund III portfolio companies.

He is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI), Chartered Financial Analyst (ICFAI, India) and a first class B.Com (Hons.) graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
